Reopen all regular international flights from February 15, 2022

Vietnam lifted restrictions on operating frequency with international flights from February 15, 2022. As a result, regular international flights return to their pre-Covid-19 operations.

 

Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Mr. Dinh Viet Son said that the agency has assigned the Vietnam Flight Management Corporation to issue a notice of aviation news (NOTAM) about VietNam lifting the restriction on the frequency of flights, return to normal as before the Covid-19 pandemic from February 15, 2022.

Accordingly, from February 15, 2022, VietNam will not limit the frequency of regular international passenger flights. Regulations on entry and epidemic prevention for passengers entering VietNam still follow the instructions of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Health.

The actual exploitation frequency depends on the regulations of the aviation authorities of the countries, territories and the market demand.

It is known that up to present, except China, all countries that VietNam proposed to restore air lines have agreed. Currently, flight routes to Europe, Australia, America ... VietNam have all operated.

However, Japan and South Korea are still restricting entry on flights from VietNam to prevent epidemics.
